Russian Veterans Speak about the Battle of El Alamein at the BA

The BA Dialogue Forum is organizing, in cooperation with the Egyptian Ambassador in Moscow, a Seminar on the history of the Battle of El Alamein and the consequential role it played in drawing the battle lines of World War II, on Thursday, 4 December 2008, in the Fourth Floor Floating Room.
A number of members from the National Association of the Societies of the Officers of Reserve of the Military Forces “MEGAPIR” will speak in the seminar, and among whom are: Mr. Alexander Kanshin, Head of the Russian Delegation; Colonel-General Yuri Bukreev, Chairman, Executive Committee of MEGAPIR; General Makhmut Gareev; Navy-Admiral Alexey Sorokin; Mrs. Galia Krainova, Scientist, Institute of Military History Studies.
The Seminar will be accompanied with a translation from Russian into Arabic. Also, the Russian party will issue a book on the proceedings of the Seminar.
